Rebecca's Guide to Not Dating

(Rebecca is, in a few words, a cynical bitch. She does not like people and thus has a bad dating history. Here's some of her -and secretly some of mine- views on romance.)

Reasons NOT to date:
  1. It's too much work. Trying to keep in contact constantly and effectually is annoying as Hell, and most of the time, it's not even worth it.
  2. It's annoying. Some people just don't take hints and it will drive you crazy because they obviously aren't looking hard enough to understand what you're saying.
  3. It's boring, after awhile. Sure, Prince Charming may be polite and chivilrous, but an awful kisser and frustrating. And when he doesn't believe in varity once in awhile, it just sucks. And not in a good way.
  4. Boys are dumb and girls are complicated. This one is pretty self-explanitory.
  5. The ensuing guilt after a break-up. After you break up with someone on perfectly reasonable grounds, any connections you made with their friends, family, and other connections just die. Or try to kill you. Point is, it's not good.
If you do end up in a relationship (poor soul), you can always break it off. While some like to do it civililly, it's much more amusing to picture break-up reactions to less conventional methods, such as...
  • Text them while you are sitting next to them.
  • Put a sticky note on the fridge and walk out.
  • Change your online relationship status to "single."
  • Have a friend (or new partner) do it for you.
  • Right after sex.
That's all I've got for now. Later.

Aujuan - First Time

(Aujuan is one of my OCs. Hailing from Spain, he was bitten and turned into a werewolf at age 13, at which time his family disowned him and left him for dead. Upset, he made his way into France where he met with his employer-to-be, Jacob. Even after a hundred years, he's still quite upset about it [he ages 1 year for every 7 years that pass - reverse dog years, if you will]. Currently, he lives in France with his boyfriend Matt.)

Hello, everyone. This is my first time blogging, so I'm not real sure what to do. Rant, I guess? I don't know...

Um, I'm having some problems at home. My boyfriend is kinda messed up in the head (love him to death, but he is), and lately it's been getting worse. He's been extra jumpy and he hasn't been talking with me much. It worries me. I wish there was something I could do to help him, but...

Anyway...since Rily's been working on my backstory, I'm a bit down...I really didn't want to be a werewolf, but I guess fate had other plans. I miss my big brother; he meant the world to me, but as soon as I turned, he nearly murdered me. *sigh*

I'm usually not this down! I guess it's just an off week...

Message From Selph

(A/N: Selph is a NiGHTS fan character. For those of you familiar with the NiGHTS games, you know he was originally a boss, but he was deleted in post-production. So, like any normal fan girl, I created a character out of him. He is a true gentleman and a Shakespeare enthusiast. He is one of my more down to Earth characters, and often acts as a mirror into my inner mind. He's also very clam, making it easier for him to communicate with others.)

Hello, everyone. As already introduced, my name is Selph. At this moment, Rily is a bit flustered with her work and other personal issues, so she would like to have me write a blog for you all.

Hm, what did I do today...I'm in school, you see, so I do not have much free time. Though I have spent a great deal of time reading, but that's a normal activity for me. I recently picked up Henry V by Shakespeare; it's very good, and I recommend it!

Things are rather quiet for once in my life. You see, Rily used to have a friend who was dreadfully upset with me at times, which after awhile got very bothersome. She has upset us all quite a bit, but I think we all agree that Rily is finally adjusting to not having her around. I cannot say whether she is better off or not, but the majority of us characters believe that. But as her conscience, I have some doubts.

Anyway, I am enjoying not being attached to anyone and having not to worry about constant drama anymore. I am enjoying my classes, mostly my Psychology and English ones. I suppose that's all. I hope you all have a good day, and don't forget to feed the fish!

A Quick Introduction

Hello, world of Blogger! I decided it was high time I got one of these of my own, but since I don't have much of a life to update about, I'd figure I'd try something new:

Every few days or so, one of my characters will update this blog and tell you about their day! Of course, in their first post I'll provide a short description of the character, so you can get the general gist of what kind of journals that character likes to write.

Common reoccuring characters will be Insomnia, Jacob Bastille, Matthew De'Crisse, Baba Blaaksheep, and many others! There's also myself, Rily Jester, who will update this as well. ;)

So until I get some blogs up for you to read, you can feed my little fishy friends at the top of the page, or look at pictures Aujuan (the werewolf) has picked out at the bottom of the page. :)
